Even though we designed the bed with side buffers and a channel, expecting the pet to lay lengthwise down the bed, we soon learnt that this bed can be used in ways we didn't even imagine!
Some pets will lay sideways across the bed, with the buffers pressing up into their tummy.
Some pets like to sleep with just their front-end on the bed (like the giant rabbit pictured above), and some like to sleep with just their butt on the bed!
We've also see rabbits who like to roll the bed up and sleep next to it, like it is one giant buffer.
We have focussed on a single sized bed that will be suitable for the most number of pets, and will be expanding the choices in both fabric design and size, but for now these are the dimensions of the medium sized Pet Hugger.
If your fully stretched out pet is longer than this length don't despair! Sometimes your pet will like to sleep squashed up, sometimes stretched out, sometimes curled into a ball, and the Pet Hugger can make a great structure to assist with their chill time.
There are limits though, so if you have a great Dane this bed is probably not going to be much use apart from a head pillow.
